About Katie!

Hey everyone thanks for visiting my blog! There isn’t that much here yet since I’m still trying to get the hang of this website, but hopefully that will all change very shortly. 

I am nineteen years old and have lived in Oro-Medonte my entire life. A lot of people say it’s boring out there, but I find it nice and peaceful. Guess it just depends where you grow up.

I am a new student at the Laurention@Georgian program, working on a Bachelor of English degree. Writing is my absoulte favourite hobby. I have shelves of notebooks that are filled with random poems, short passages, and story ideas and outlines I’ve been scribbling down for years.

Reading, of course, is another big hobby of mine. I try to read about a book a week (though lately I’ve been bogged down with text book passages), and It’s unlikely you’ll see me without a novel in my hand.

I also love just about any form of outdoor recreation, especially camping, kayaking, and archery.
